AnalogX MaxMem is a program that will manage your memory in order to enhance your system’s performance. This program is able to free up physical memory for your important applications, while limiting it for other less crucial processes.
Once you install and run the program, it will sit as a tiny icon in the system tray, and MaxMem will constantly monitor your memory usage, telling you how much free memory is available at any time just by hovering your mouse pointer over its icon. It will also display your memory use graphically, representing your current usage with a green line in the program’s icon.
The program can launch three different methods to free up memory: Normal, Periodic, and Aggressive. You can configure the program – by right-clicking on its icon - to launch any of these three methods. Then, you can use the default parameters for each method or specify manually the memory boundaries that you want to apply while freeing up memory.
This program works under any version of Windows, from Windows 95 to Windows 7.
